Other Interests (or, why I might not be responding to your email)

Pets
They are the best study break. I am the proud parent of a  German Shepherd mix, Sadie and a young (insanely energetic) Belgian Malinois named Klinger. I also have four rats two turtles. I will always take questions about all my critters.

Hiking
I'm very thankful to have lived so close to great hiking locations. For the first five years of grad school, I was near the Shenandoah Valley. I now live right next to the Rockies. If it's not raining and above 40 degrees, that's probably where you'll find me Saturday mornings.

Soccer
If it is raining or under 40 degrees, you'll find me at home Saturday mornings watching the Premier League. I love cheering on my team of choice, Manchester United. Their recent form makes the publication process seem much less frustrating by comparison.
